Kicking off a series of talks at Allenburys, Chris Eastabrook will be talking about his adventures in Papua attempting to bag a ‘first decent’ of the Derewo River. For a taster of what to expect, check out Chris’s description on the Pyranah blog page. Let’s just say it didn’t go according to plan, and turned into quite an adventure!
The talk takes place on Tuesday 11th Sept 2012 at 8pm, with the doors and bar open from 5pm. Entrance fee is just £3 with all profits going to WaterAid.
Allenburys is the GSK Sports and Social Club, Harris’s Lane, Ware, Herts, SG12 0DJ, just 15 minutes from the Lee Valley Whitewater Centre.
