The ICF* Canoe Slalom World Cup hits London’s Lee Valley White Water Centre in June 2014. Professional paddlers from across the world will compete on the London 2012 Olympic course, in an adrenalin fuelled race of speed and skill.
With up to 25 slalom gates on a punishing, grade 4 white water course, action and excitement are guaranteed. The Canoe Slalom World Cup takes place over 6 – 8 June 2014, with tickets on sale now.
The race is the first major international competition to be held at the venue since the London 2012 Olympic Games, when Team GB clinched a stunning double-medal haul in the men’s C2 competition. Spectators will be hoping for more of the same as the athletes battle it out for medals and glory on Lee Valley White Water Centre’s technically demanding 300m world-class competition course.
Many of the world-class teams and athletes will have competed in the London 2012 Olympics and will also use this race as they prepare for the 2015 ICF Canoe Slalom World Championships and Olympic Qualification for Rio 2016, being held at the Lee Valley White Water Centre during 16 – 20 September 2015
