The Allenburys Adventure Series presents this fascinating story of circumnavigating the British Isles by Sea Kayak that is not to be missed! Tuesday 15th October 2013 – 8pm.

When Natalie and Michal Maderova embarked on their journey around the British Coast, they had only been paddling for two and a half years. The enormity of the task ahead was overwhelming, yet they believed that if they could go on a one-day trip, then a week long trip, they could cope with something longer.

“We decided that one does not have to be professional kayaker to kayak around the British coast. It proved to be the right decision. The opportunity to live with the sea for four months, the influence of weather and nature on our decision making, the marine environment, the changing places and the people we met made our trip unforgettable and something we never regretted starting.”

Allenburys is the GSK Sports and Social Club based at Harris’s Lane, Ware, Herts, SG12 0DJ. This is on the Herts/Essex boarder just 15 minutes from the Lee Valley White Water Centre and M25/J25 (A10)
