Tower Hamlets Canoe Club are running an Level 1 coaching course in February 2014 and have a few places left.
It is a four day course over two weekends based at Shadwell Basin. Anyone who has done it already will know that the course is a great way for paddlers to improve skills whilst considering how they could teach and coach others into paddlesports.
The Level 1 qualification allows the coach to run sessions for those new to paddling and is a gateway to other British Canoe Union coaching awards. More info is available here http://www.canoe-england.org.uk/coaching/bcu-qualification-courses/
