Fancy a weekend dedicated to sea kayaking in the South of England? Take your pick from river and sea trips along the River Itchen, River Hamble and the Solent, adventure paddle to the Needles, shore based activities and courses. All levels of abilities will be catered for, with camping on site.
The specialist team from Woodmill Canoe Shop will be on hand all weekend with boats for you to demo, kit for you to try on and sound advice to offer.
Workshops, sea kayak clinics and courses
- Skills workshops for beginners, female sea kayak clinic and FUNdamental kayaking for under 18s;
- RYA First Aid, Introduction to charts and navigation, FSRT course shore based workshops at Woodmill;
- VHF Radio Communications at Southampton Water Activities Centre;
- Transport provided between Woodmill and other locations;
- Evening activities include BBQ, bar, camp fire, high ropes, leap of faith, video sessions and much more.
