BANFF Mountain Film Festival

| December 19, 2012

The BANFF Mountain Film Festival is back in town this February, screening at the Union Chapel in Islington from 21st – 28th February 2013. The Festival showcases the very best in outdoor sporting adventure and exploration and is a must-see for any outdoors enthusiast.

The Banff Mountain Film Festival brings together diverse and extraordinary films from the world’s most talented adventure filmmakers and is seen by more than 200,000 people on its annual World Tour. The films visit amazing wild places and are packed with amazing footage of adrenalin-fueled action sports.

At each evening there are also lots of prize giveaways – so make sure you enter the raffle – the prizes are usually pretty hot.

The films begin at 7.30pm, with the bar opening at 6:30pm. Seating is unreserved and tickets cost £14.10 (including 60p booking fee).

One word of warning, if you cycle make sure you lock your bikes up securely and to something solid. Last year several film goers had bicycles stolen from outside the venue.

Visit www.banff-uk.com for more details for the films and to book tickets.
