This one day classroom based course will cover the theoretical aspects and pre assessment requirements of the BCU 4 Star (Coastal Navigation & Tidal Planning) sea kayak award. The aim is to provide you with the technical skills to plan and navigate effectively on coastal journeys in moderate sea conditions
“Smash & Bash” Sunday 11th January 2015
A one day classroom/practicalworkshop which will look at all aspects of kayak damage and repair. You will learn how kayaks are designed and built during this very “hands on” course where you will also have the opportunity to repair a composite and polyethylene kayak.
The course will be held at Shadwell Basin Outdoor Activity Centre
