A one day classroom/practical workshop which will look at all aspects of kayak damage and repair. You will learn how kayaks are designed and built during this very “hands on” course where you will also have the opportunity to repair a composite and polyethylene kayak. 9.00am start.
Coastal Navigation Saturday 10th January 2016
This one day classroom based course will cover the theoretical aspects and pre assessment requirements of the BCU 4 Star (Coastal Navigation & Tidal Planning) sea kayak award. The aim is to provide you with the technical skills to plan and navigate effectively on coastal journeys in moderate sea conditions. 9.00am start.
The courses will be held at Shadwell Basin Outdoor Activity Centre
Cost: £65.00 per course or £120.00 for both.
